I agree 100% the battle to change into a truly social company is an internal switch and from my experience this has to be driven from the top down and even that’s not a guarantee for success.

I heard a great saying the other day: “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” (look for another blog post on this topic) Basically any effort to change your strategy will fail if it goes against the company’s strategy.
