WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF MAINSTREAM MEDIA or JOURNALISM?

Sure we can hve two minds, but lets go back in future of 50 years from now. Will these huge media jugheads survive? Though I have my own doubts but surely the inflection point of their demise is online citizen journalism in 140 chars.
